I had a chance to see her again this summer (and click off a few shots as well), and she never fails to disappoint. I believe that was my first B-17 walk through back in '89, at the ripe old age of 2!

To contrast the earlier comment, I like the "weight" of the picture, with the 17 being the focal point and offset.

Another excellent capture.
What opportunity awaits you next Jay? Things just seem to be getting better for unique shots.

Maybe a ride in Fat Albert with the BA's in formation for a picture or a U2 flight to the edge of space? :)

Hey Jay,

The lighting and sharpness on this image are BEAUTIFUL. I do have to agree though, it does seem weighted heavily towards the B-17. The background is gorgeous, but with the way the rig-line runs it sorta breaks the image in half and makes the 'escorts' disappear into the background. If they were a little further up, and maybe stacked up I think that would have helped. Overall, very nice work though. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've got for us!

I spend too much on flying to have much equipment worth listing!

That is an awesome shot!!! What were you flying in? Do you get to ride in any of the planes you shoot?
