Hey guys I want to shoot one of my friends in a grass field or a wheat field. Is there any place near Los Angeles that there's one?

Out of town -- up in the hills or the parks, Griffith Park, Topanga Canyon -- out in the Whittier hills (I grew up there) -- the possibilities are endless. Wheat fields? Not so much farmland anymore. There was a time when the name Orange County meant a place where there were orange groves, but that was like 50 years ago. Find a park, find canyon country, Mullholland Drive, Turnbull, there are endless possibilities!

Try Malibu Creek State Park. Off of Mulholland Hwy. Lots of rolling hills, green depending on what time of year. It's where they shot the old tv series MASH. Another idea might be the wildflower reserve up in the Palmdale, Lancaster area. No amber waves of grain anywhere close that I can think of.
