Second one stretches interest out more across with width, which is good, but the totally-black sail's less interesting than the reddish rendering above. From that camera angle, the all-important interest created by the layering of mid and background is concentrated in a very narrow strip through the image, but the tall building prevent a much tighter crop. Would be interesting to see the same scene from a more elevated camera position, but that might not have been on offer. The horizon needs a straightening too. 5D and too much glass. Mamiya 645E.

Thanks for comments. They are both single images cropped. They were taken from a boat so there is no way to increase elevation at all. Point taken about the horizon too. I'm still learning so go easy on me
