The most important part is finding a system you feel really happy and comfortable with. I'm just glad we have choices.

I feel comfortable just thinking about it. ;)

Don't be embarrassed about that, Stealthy, I was wrong once!

Of course, it was all a silly mistake and it turned out that I'd only THOUGHT I was wrong...but of course, that was quite wrong of me!

:rolleyes:Damn, where's this heading?

Now, now chilluns' - nothing that bad about marriage...... I've managed to survive 31 years of it. She's actually quite smart and much more organized than I am so I've learned one or two things along the way :D. Some of those times that I've been wrong... well, I've actually been wrong.

Resolution makes it more noticeable though. They're not enlarging it per say, they're just noticing it more... because it's larger...

more pixels per pimple

No. The size of the motion blur striking the sensor is a matter of the length of the exposure. It is a physical, measurable property. If the size of the motion blur is less than about 0.035mm, it will be imperceptible at normal reading distances to the average person.

It does not matter what the resolution of the sensor is--regardless of whether that 0.035mm blur is made of 0.0025mm pixels or 0.005mm pixels or 0.01mm pixels, it will still be imperceptible.

If you begin enlarging that 0.035mm blur on a print, you eventually enlarge it to the point of visual perceptibility at normal reading distance, usually by 10x, when the size of the blur on the display reaches about 0.3mm. At that point, the viewer says, "Hmm, that looks fuzzy."

The measurable size of the blur at 10x will be 0.3mm regardless of the resolution of the sensor.

Yes S P, but you have obviously actually accumulated some WISDOM! Now that puts you at an unfair advantage to the rest of us who just want to argue about cameras and other trivialities! :D:rolleyes::p

I see your point Ricardo..... quite valid; but on some days the amount of wisdom achieved seems to have a proportional relationship with the raps up the side of the head.

Oh my, ain't that the truth! (Actually, I have to quite un-modestly say that I believe there's hope for me...my lady calls me her "work in progress")!:)

Another way of looking at it Ricardo is that us gents are simply diamonds in the rough. On bad days though they tend to treat us like cubic zirconias ......

I always think the 5diii is going to be a 7D with a full frame sensor and improved native ISO.
