For you photoshop lovers, I need to learn how to create a backdrop. Here is a photo for you. Will you please take a stab at putting in different backgrounds so I can see what can be done. I am getting sick of the bright backgrounds at my perches and know I can take some bokeh'd backdrops and just put them in, but don't yet know how.

Thanks for any attempt.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

i only have GIMP or DPP to work with. I assume the Gimp can do the same thing, but I don't know if it'll be a snap to do, though.

And, good job, corkney, i only see a couple spots where i assumed a lot of places would be hard on that limb and feathers.

Thanks for the compliment, it actually took longer for photobucket's log in page to load than it did to stick the bg in so its relatively easy in photoshop. Obviously spend more time on making your selection than I did and if your software offers refine edge then this will smooth the jaggies. For best results try using a bg that looks consistent with your present lighting direction.
