Just wondering how much of a difference are they button control layouts on these two cameras Nikon D90 and D700? I'm going to swap my 5Dc for friend's D90 for a couple of weeks just to see if I'll ever learn to like Nikon's button control layouts. Nikon bodies feel better in my hands but their button layout is something that I'm not sure if I'll ever learn to like:lol:.

Not to sound like a a$$, but wouldn't this be a better question for a Noink forum?

You learn to like it. If you were swaping a D300 then it would be difference. The D90 is not like the D700. The d300 and up is...
It kind of like the difference between a t2i and a 60D...enough difference to stumble around for a while till you get used to it.

Im going to be going most likely to a D700 from my 5dc and i think its a worth while apgrade. The D800 wont be out for most likely another year. The D4 has to come out and then once the sale drop a little on that they will relase a D800. Then when they drop they relase a D4s...ect...

Go to DP review and look at the D90 and D700 you will see the differences.

I think I entered the wrong forum and.... oh... wait... :D

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D

Thanks for responses everyone.

Will be upgrading my 5Dc soon and it's either going to be a 5D2 or D700.
