Hi everyone

I have done a bit of work on my website, www.freddieridge.com (external link) , could you have a look and let me know what you think of it?

As I only really take landscape photos and have a lot of them I was thinking of splitting landscapes up by regions on a separate page, could you let me know what you think of this idea?

Thanks!
Fred

I like it. I can get very directly to each category with a minimum of web trickery, and the images display at a good size. Simple and appealing appearance.

Your "About me" page links to a nonexistent Waterfalls section.

The initial flash screen (for the home page slideshow) is nice but there's the inevitable delay, and when I navigate back to that page I get the delay all over again. The function is nice, but "Loading" screens just suck.

I also like it, but why do you have your logo in the macro section?
I have smugmug and love it.

Ah yes, pleased you reminded me about that! I am actually trying to work out the best way to make an About Me page, any advice?

I know what you mean about the loading but for me it is not too slow and I do really like having the slideshow. Out of interest how long is it taking for you to load?

Doh! Now gone...

I also really like Smugmug, was considering moving to a more sophisticated hosting but realised it does everything I want it to and is actually probably too sophisticated for me!

Just now, about 7 seconds until I saw an image. Previously, I saw more of the loading bar so it could have been more. We're on DSL at 1286 kb/sec according to DSLReports.
