My only questioning would be the choice of the black BG. Dark hair, dark clothing it all blends, no separation.

Yeah, I agree. I'm really struggling right now. Its just a hobby for me but I'm not really happy with my work and I can't figure out what the IT factor is that I'm missing.

Hey, keep at it. learn from your past experiences. Sometime I think I've made great strides and then I get my pics on the computer and i'm scratching my head wondering where I went wrong.

This place is good at helping you out. take this lil tidbits and use them.

Definitely photograph on a white, cream or tan background and I like them better with less clothes, lol.

Also I think your focus may be off in the 1st one...it looks like you focused on the head band instead of her face?
