Finally got my hands on a stand and umbrella, so played around. Please let me know what you think, first is original and second is post-processed.

very nice but what is that white line by the mouth and nose and white speck above the eyelashes?

Seems a bit underexposed and the processing seems a bit unsaturated for my taste. WB also seems off but not bad. Keep at it and don't be afraid to move the light around and see how it changes light fall off.

Didn't even notice, did a quick job. But that is odd. Will check the other pics to see if those appear, good spot!

I also find it a bit to underexposed, the pp is a bit strange as the person looks half dead, the skin tones is very grey, I much prefer the first picture just for that reason

That jacket has sucked all the light out of the exposure.

underexposed for sure, but i do think the PP adds to the image.. color and and the background glow
