The UAE F-16 block 60's have been training here in Tucson for a few years now. Today the last three left for their home country. Sad to see them go but at least I have the photos of them leaving.

The UAE does not have a tanker so that is why they have the conformal tanks on the top. The wing tanks are extra large 600 gallon tanks vs. the regular 370 gallon tanks and then you have the standard 300 gallon center line tank. This is enough fuel to get them to the east coast, refuel then head to Iceland where they will refuel again and then finally to the UAE. -Chris

No not standard they are the 600 gallon tanks. Same ones carried by the F-15. Normally we only load up 370 gallon tanks. I've worked on F-16's for quite some time now. -Chris
