Hey guys. I am looking to submit a photo into a contest. Its not a 'pro' contest so dont hate on my photos saying they are not national geographic quality please :). I posted not all my photos, but the majority of the ones I like and think are my better photos... about 31 photos I believe. If you can help me pick that would be amazingly helpful because I value your opinions on this forum. Its just hard to pick my favorite photo because I know that it wont usually be my 'best' shot. The contest is an open subject one so nothing particular has to be in it... just the 'best' two or three photos in your eyes would be nice. Thanks so much of those helping in advance!

my smugmug account i made for the photos: http://davidlitton.smugmug.com …33_XtLrs#1094743487_hgLvS (external link)

Thanks again all of you for your help again
-David

Here's the two best, IMO...

3 and 10

Good luck with the contest.

They are all great pictures. I would have to go with 10. Something about 29 though. I like the green color that manages to be on the clock and the street.

Nice work indeed!

For a judged contest, I would pick those that have impact...catch the judges eye and attention...
For me those would be 3 or 8 possibly 8 by a tad:cool:

Best of luck!

Bob

Thanks Brett and Bob. Glad you like the shots. I by the way love your shots Brett, I looked at your smugmug... some amazing shots! I agree with your statement Bob, and thats one thing I am trying to keep in my mind when picking the final two or three shots.

They are nice - is there a theme for the contest?

Nope. Sorry I dont think I stated that. This contest is says:

What are your categories?

Subject matter is open, and we have no categories. You must indicate for each photo entered whether it is a black-and-white photo or color.
---

Its also for College/High School students only.

Wow. I don't like 3 or 8, which seem popular. The cow doesn't tell a story and I don't like the crop on 8. My vote is for 15. Or, 21 definitely makes you look twice. Not sure if it's the crop, but the blur is interesting and awfully close.

Great landscapes - 10, 28 and 17.

Thanks mate. Yeah I like 21 a lot, I took it this past Saturday. It was at about 15mm or so I think, and at the corner of a part in the road so right up next to the bus. I could feel it almost brush by me!
