Cool!
Might be worth bumping up the exposure a touch just to bring up some of the shadows.
Where was that taken?

That would almost have to be one of the last flights if it was taken recently. It was a real buzz seeing it in action again this year at Williamtown.

Can I submit a go as well, a good shot as is; especially if that's the look you were after, which after looking at some of your other shots; I'm sure it's just as you wanted it to be.

I like it darker, as sort of a SR-71 feeling, & just tried to up the highlights in it a little.

I don't see any shadows (well maybe a little under the rear fin), I just see dark. A strange picture as everything around the plane seems to be well illuminated, I'm guessing the light source is front starboard so not getting any bounce up from the ground on to the plane. I like shadow too if it enhances the shot but in this case I don't think it does IMHO the plane just looks dark with no detail visible, on the other hand I think I have gone overboard and lightened it up just a little too much. It wouldn't do for us all to like the same things in life would it, there'd soon be a shortage.

Nice shot of a great aircraft, I used to spend hours watching the F-111F's at RAF Lakenheath as a kid.

Thanks everyone for comments.
I'll try a single shot hdr on this but I think the original shot is as real as it gets.
The sun creates shadows, not much can be done about it from the distance this was take. About 150 metres. Yes flash fill would have been nice :)
