My wife & I were over visiting a friend yesterday, and these are a couple of photos I snapped of her lovely dog. They were taken with the Tamron 28-75, ISO 200, at f4 with a shutter speed of 1/60... and I used my 420ex flash.

More info | Those were about the only good photos of her... most of the time she wouldn't stay still. We were visiting late in the evening, and she was supposed to be in bed by then. But once we showed up, she got all wound up again. 1D MKI + 1Ds MKI + 5D MKI Kit - EF17-35 f2.8L | EF24-70 f2.8 L | EF 100-400L IS | EF15 f2.8 | EF35L | EF50 f1.4 | EF85 f1.8 | EF135L | 580EX II | 580EX I | 270EX II | G12

More info | Yeah... our friend had quite the time trying different groomers, I think at one point she decided to learn how to cut Emmy's (the little schnauzer's name) hair herself. I wonder if this is her handy work or a pro's... I'll have to ask. Before she bought Emmy from the breeder, she had to request that the ears stay intact... the groomer was pretty adamant about clipping them, as they do with all of their show dogs. 1D MKI + 1Ds MKI + 5D MKI Kit - EF17-35 f2.8L | EF24-70 f2.8 L | EF 100-400L IS | EF15 f2.8 | EF35L | EF50 f1.4 | EF85 f1.8 | EF135L | 580EX II | 580EX I | 270EX II | G12

Your tamron is a sharp lens and provides nice contrast, gotta take a serious look at one.
