Does anyone know the highlight to shadow range that the 7D sensor can capture?

I looked at the specs on Canon.com & through most of the 7D FAQ's here, but unless I missed it (very possible) I can't seem to find it. I guess you would call it the dynamic range of the sensor.

There is supposed to be a spec expressed in stops, ie. 6 stops but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
