some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Well, I'm back with another IR camera. I had an X-T20 590nm previously and rationalized selling it. Now I'm back with an X-T30 590nm. I just got it today and went out to shoot some images. I have found I like to shoot film sim Acros with Green filter for B&W. Also, a few findings with some lenses.

The 16-80mm worked this evening though my back was mostly at the sun when I shot with it. At 16mm it's worse than with my regular camera.

The 70-300mm also works but as you zoom, the sharpness gets worse. At 300mm it's downright horrible.

Drove around yesterday with my wife and shot some more infrared. Generally, I didn't get anything very good but I still enjoyed getting out and driving around.

Visited Leavenworth, WA yesterday moreso to spend time with my wife but I was able to take a few images in Tumwater Canyon. This spot is definitely one of my favorites. Because it was midday and sunny, a regular color image would not look that good so I took this infrared image and converted (590nm) it to B&W.

I like the second shot with more foreground. I don't want to say "the uncropped shot" since that could be cropped too.

Visited an arboretum yesterday morning with my wife. It was nice to go walk around the area and enjoy the different trees. It was a lot harder than I thought to get anything decent. I think I may have to start zooming in and thinking about a specific subject instead of photographing a scene.
Fuji X-T30 590nm, channel swap and converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro 2.

Found this interesting scene this afternoon of some seaweed growing underwater in an irrigation canal inlet. It was so cool watching the seaweed wave gently with the current of the water. I can't tell if that's a mild hotspot or what, near the center.

I am really enjoying B&W infrared photography. When I can get a good image it's really unique. The cloud above the trees really makes this scene stand out. This image was taken near the Two Rivers Park at Finley, WA. Fuji X-T30 590nm converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro 2.

I went to a neighboring city both days this weekend in search of some IR images. The first day it was partly cloudy for about the first hour I was there then more clouds came in and it turned into overcast skies. I left for the day only to return the next day. Today, it was mostly clear but the winds were blowing 20-30mph. I still stuck it out but was disappointed that I didn't really get any great images. I did stop on the way to take a few images and this turned out to be one I liked.
