HaroldC3 Goldmember More info | Jul 16, 2021 23:45 | #843 Well, I'm back with another IR camera. I had an X-T20 590nm previously and rationalized selling it. Now I'm back with an X-T30 590nm. I just got it today and went out to shoot some images. I have found I like to shoot film sim Acros with Green filter for B&W. Also, a few findings with some lenses. Generally, I didn't get anything very good but I still enjoyed getting out and driving around. Image hosted by forum (1112441) © HaroldC3 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. This spot is definitely one of my favorites. Because it was midday and sunny, a regular color image would not look that good so I took this infrared image and converted (590nm) it to B&W. I like the second shot with more foreground. I don't want to say "the uncropped shot" since that could be cropped too.

It was nice to go walk around the area and enjoy the different trees. It was a lot harder than I thought to get anything decent. I think I may have to start zooming in and thinking about a specific subject instead of photographing a scene. Image hosted by forum (1113239) © HaroldC3 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. It was so cool watching the seaweed wave gently with the current of the water. I can't tell if that's a mild hotspot or what, near the center. HaroldC3 Goldmember More info | Aug 07, 2021 09:18 | #853 I am really enjoying B&W infrared photography. When I can get a good image it's really unique. The cloud above the trees really makes this scene stand out. This image was taken near the Two Rivers Park at Finley, WA. Fuji X-T30 590nm converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro 2. HaroldC3 Goldmember More info | Aug 08, 2021 23:23 | #854 I went to a neighboring city both days this weekend in search of some IR images. The first day it was partly cloudy for about the first hour I was there then more clouds came in and it turned into overcast skies. I left for the day only to return the next day. Today, it was mostly clear but the winds were blowing 20-30mph. I still stuck it out but was disappointed that I didn't really get any great images. I did stop on the way to take a few images and this turned out to be one I liked. Image hosted by forum (1115900) © HaroldC3 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
