some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I have an old Sony V3 camera that has the nightshot option, it removes the IR filter on the sensor. My camera seems to have it permanently removed becoming a full spectrum camera. I either put an orange filter on thus letting pass InfraRed light and the red-orange portion of visible light or a 720nm filter that cuts off most of the visible spectrum. Then some Photoshop...

With the 720nm filter

Old schoolhouse I came upon in a forest preserve last week. IR modified Canon 100D. Pioneer Sholes School, LeRoy Oaks Forest Preserve, St. Charles, Illinois. The sky wasn't good for IR that day, but the sun came out at just the right moment and vanished just after I took the shot. The sad thing is that with COVID, and not much travel this year, this was the only IR shot I have taken in 2021.

With my V1 in nightshot mode the camera insists on a green monochrome output which very much limits the full spectrum options. Not an issue for monochrome 720nm type shots like this but completely rules out any false colour photography. Does your V3 get round this, or do you have to desaturate?

If I put the IR filter on the V1, in nightshot mode, I get a cast, that after PP ends up in a mostly B/W picture with blue skies.

I do this for a start

in Photoshop
1 duplicate layer
2 Hue (Ctrl-U), greens -100
3 Hue Master 127, Saturation 57
4 filter (Ctrl-F) Blur 3-5%
5 Layer -> color layer
6 Auto levels (Ctrl-L)
7 Hue Reds -100
8 Flatten image
9 Auto Levels (Ctrl-L)

In the infamous words of Dennis Quaid....I'm baaaccckkkk!!!

Just got another Canon EOS M6 590nm last week and we had some sun on Saturday. I was hoping I could have gone with a Z6/Z7 but it appears banding is an issue with IR conversions so back to the M6 I went. It looks like the 15-45mm is going to be my go-to lens.

Not sure if I've posted this one here or not... but it's one of my favorite IR shots I've taken thus far.

The trees in the middle and the fence, your first picture, really stand out.

My Sony V3 acts like a full spectrum camera, I think I swapped the red and blue channels and got this.
