Civic Hatchback Studio Shots!

So these might seem pretty simple to any of you that haven't shot in a studio before but these are far more complex than anything else I've ever done on a cyc. The problem with a cove is that it's designed to bounce light all over the place so even the smallest amount of spill will fill the whole frame with a light grey. Getting a solid black background with a simple spot is a much more difficult task than it looks. On top of that this car had flat paint which requires reflections to show depth. Anyway here they are, let me know what you guys think. More shots available on my flickr (external link)

I like 1-4 the best...not a huge fan of the overblown sections in 5-6...gorgeous car, too bad about all the stickers...

i dont dig the hot spot on 1-4. i think maybe if it was more diffused? jmo. otherwise pretty awesome. i dig the color.

Wow, very cool look with the studio lighting. How many strobes were used in these images?

My fav is #2 as well.
