So these might seem pretty simple to any of you that haven't shot in a studio before but these are far more complex than anything else I've ever done on a cyc. The problem with a cove is that it's designed to bounce light all over the place so even the smallest amount of spill will fill the whole frame with a light grey. Getting a solid black background with a simple spot is a much more difficult task than it looks. On top of that this car had flat paint which requires reflections to show depth.
