Just me, and one light

I've been trying to do the "Project 365" thing, with one photo per day for a year. Naturally many of the pictures are just "fillers", but I am really pleased with the one I took last night.

This was taken using a Canon 350D on a horrible, really cheap tripod , and an infra-red remote control for the camera. The background was the reverse side of a Lastolite HiLite.

The only light was from a £5 Ikea halogen desk lamp, standing camera right of me. The exposure time was 1s.

Interestingly, just after I had taken the last of the group of photos I was taking, there was quite a loud "bang" from the lamp, and a second later the light went out... I guess the sight of my torso was just too much for the lamp!
