Nov 20, 2010 06:25 | #4 HDR? yes. This was taken at sundown and there was very little light to work with. I was really hoping to go for natural look with it though and think I went abit overboard with the vibrance. I've toned down the greens and adjusted the crop. Maybe it works better now?

Yes, it does look overprocessed, but one coud argue that could be the style of the image you want and it certainly makes the image pop (everyone will have an opinion on whether it pops too much). It would be interesting to see the original photograph. Has this been cropped at all from the original, because it could do with a little more headroom above the lighthouse and at the bottom to include the whole of the curved section of fencing.

Great composition and its a great location. The shot does seem to have a bit of lens distortion. Hope you dont mind, but rather than faux HDR a single shot,try highlight adjusting the shot and toning down the saturation a bit.
