I'm thinking the only way I can get these kinds of shot are going to have to involve focus stacking so that the surface and the waterdrops reflection are in focus - added to that either long exposures with natural light or cross posterization of the flash light to try and hide those horribly large and distracting highlights. Anyone else got any thoughts and suggestions? Any input greatly welcome. Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too

If you're really being picky then perhaps change the aperture to get more droplets in focus.

Nov 22, 2010 03:26 | #3 My thanks for your input Canon 2311 - I have to say I still feel there is more wrong with this shot than just a small cropping factor; something just isn't right to my eyes with the overall details and the reflections on the leaf and water drops.
