Every once in a while a miracle occurs. I've been driving past this site for years now. The sky was already in place with the storm approaching and I was able to escape work early enough to catch this light on the way home. I even got to work from the cargo bay of my Westfalia. I could have made hot chocolate if I had the time. Picked up some contrast in the conversion. The original is cleaner with more detail in the land mass.

A little history on the reservoir. I had no idea that a couple of old cattle ranches were lost to this reservoir and that other issues remain. For anyone that has not been to West Marin there are some really large old cattle ranches and dairies here. In amazing settings I might add. Well worth a trip.
