Is the saturation too high on this shots or does it work?

I think it's perfect, what fstop did you shot at? Really works for this picture. Any pp on this?

If you are looking for a Velvia print this fits in nicely. If you want a softer contrast print like Astia you will need to back off a bit. Nice image. Nice color balance, Not sure the tree or ridge at the bottom of the frame is adding much to the overall IQ.

I took this shot about a year ago. The exif data says I shot it at f/8. Yes PP is involved. FOr kicks heres the original

Definitely better than the original...saturation boost fits this shot well.

Nice shot though!

The first shot looks very good and the colouration is the right side of being within acceptable taste.

I also like the first image more. it shows the color and detail better. The second image looks like it was taken later in the day with less available lighting.
