Cropping is something different for me.. it is a 16x9 wide screen crop..

a fan was plugged into a Vagabond to create the hair wind effect..

2 lights were used on this shot.

1. Key lighting was AB1600 with Beauty Dish Gridded. about 6 -8 feet away from Subject at low power

2. The Blue lighting was 1 Speed light held by Aurielle's mother Beth.. ( i had 2 speed lights set up to fire, but this shot was one that only one fired and it turned out to be my fav) speed light was 1/4 power with blue film gel)

Outstanding, AGAIN. Thanks for the info also.
I was afraid of using the Vagabond for anything other than flash. Is it ok?
In fact, based on your previous posting regarding gels, I was going to try to copy you tonight, but it started raining.
Soon though...

That's one stunning shot. I really love the main light across her face.

Pham, the 16:9 crop works for me. It has a very commercial/advertising feel to it. Of course if that's not what you intended then yeah nevermind. ;)

Regardless of the cropping, great work. Thanks for sharing.

Great shot Pham, I think the tighter crop works better b/c my eyes are drawn to her face immediately. The other shot my eyes kind of wonder around.
