Nice shots. I found my first mantis randomly this summer and just enjoyed shooting it so much. I convinced it to walk on to a twig, got my dad to hold the twig, and I just snapped away. My only regret was shooting wide open on my Nifty; should have stopped down to get more details. Live and learn!

i love the composition on the 1st and 2nd, but needless to say, the pictures are OOF and CA is very visible (which isnt your fault as far as i can see)
what lens did you use? what was your available light?

I used my 28-135 with Kenko tubes.
Tempted to buy a nifty fifty
BTW - what does CA mean?

CA = Chromatic Abberation. Nice - but they are a little out of focus.
