This probably doesn't happen enough, but I just want to thank the entire POTN for everything. This forum not only converted me to a Canon user, but has truly inspired me to become a better photographer. This all comes after me posting some photos in the critique corner, and getting some really amazing feedback. I would have wanted some more, but what I got was plenty. The reviews have really allowed me to open my eyes and see what I was doing wrong, and to truly help me become a better photographer. I came into this hobby with a sincere heart to do my best and have fun. I am certainly having fun. You know its meant to be when you love your camera to bits, and have an undieing urge to just go out and take pictures. Im constantly thinking what my next lens purchases are going to be, but at the same time Im also thinking how I can get better.
Some great memories include first finding out this place when searching for sample images made by the 70-200 f/4L. After that I was hooked. I looked into getting my first DLSR and decided to go with the XSi. But when reading more threads here, I decided that the 50D was the best way to go based on my knowledge and my needs in a body. But then it got worse 
I started looking at primes and my first lens was a Nifty! Great lens but am struggling to get the "sharp" pictures I desired. But then POTN came and woke me up. Photography is more than just pixel-peeping and getting the most sharp picture possible, its about having that perfect composition, exposure, and lighting! Basically, if you pixel peeping, you will never enjoy this hobby.
In the conclusion, sorry for the long rant but I just needed to share. Thanks for having me so far, and I hope to stay for a very long time and become a great part of this great community!
