I was surfing the net and found these tilt shift lenses. The big plus with these lenses is that the optics are by Carl Zeiss! :) They can be mounted to Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Leica R, and Contax. Does anyone have experience or know the prices of these things? The website doesn't have a list price at all. I'm just curious since I recently aquired the 17 TS and 24 MK II TS.

Plenty on eBay. Sure it is Zeiss glass? Quality is good but now where near a Canon T/S.

AFAIK the older, cheaper Hartbleis weren't Zeiss, and weren't as good as the Canon T/S lenses. No idea about the newer, much more expensive ones.

Indeed these are Zeiss medium format glass mounted in the Hartblei super rotator body. All of the super rotators are now listed as out of stock and no price. I assume there is a problem with making more... They were very expensive $3-4k++ with the shorter focal length being the most costly. The only person I know who has purchased these is "burningheart" on the FM alternate gear forum. You would have to contact him directly.

I wrote a review on the older Ukraine Hartblei 35/2.8 some time ago. Burningheart did confirm that the mount is as I have described it for the inexpensive glass. the mount is described in part 1 and part 2 of this review.

Are you after tilt or shift? If you do not need both, myself I only need tilt, you can get a quality set-up by buying a P6 (Pentacon 6 medium format lens) and a tilt adapter or a shift adapter.

I was just curious to find out other alternatives to see what's out there. Right now, I'm in love with the 17 and 24. It should keep me busy for a while. Now, if Canon could release those MK III extenders! :)
