I caught this guy perched on some power lines.. It was nice enough to pose for me...

I'm not keen on the power lines to be honest as I like to see more natural environments, but thats just a personal taste thing. The shots are excellent, I prefer the 1st but both are wonderful. A beautiful bird. GJ

Excellent and I believe you are right when you say, "I caught this guy ......" I would say it's an adult male. An adult female Red-tail would be much larger.

Super shot here and wonderful exposure and sharpness not to mention the nice blue sky here also. Now get this one to pose on a branch of a old dead tree.
