First off, I am deathly afraid of bees, yet this one almost touched my lens. bw! I dont know if its too sharp or too colorful, suggestions? I liked the pollen on the bee.

Looks nice rpmaurer. I do not think it is too sharp and you really filled the frame well with the subject. I do not mind the cropping of the flower petals on the sides but you are getting real close to the top of the bee and, IMHO, would be a bit better if there were a tad more room at the top - but that's just me.

Nice detail! Liking the bits of pollen on the bee's body.
