Winter is the best time to be there. You have the possibility of clouds and weather, and you won't melt. However, it does get cold a night. I'd rather have the cold than the heat. By April it can already be in the 90's. In December / January it's in the 60's during the day and in the 30's at night. I always hope for clouds to make it interesting!
