Flying Pete, Moppie and myself went out shooting around Auckland last night. Here are a few of my better ones.

The sunset out of Petes window before we went out, The monument you can see on the hill is the same one as in the 3rd photo below:

The monument is a little to overexposed, but I like the background.

Haha, my brainwashing powers have tricked you.

I mesmerised you with my Mt Eden shots earlier, and you really went to One Tree Hill. ;)
Nice try anyway mate. You could have had us all fooled.

Cool shots so far. :)

That's quite interesting, 2 parties of people decide to go up seperate hills in Auckland, without the other knowing ;)

Too bad Mt Eden is closer to the city. Even my 400mm was too big. Could only fit the observation levels of the sky tower in.

The poor security gaurd thought that the 3 of us were going to steel his car...no wonder the way we were all crouched down around it...

Anyone else wonder how he could afford it? He was talking about trading it in for the next model up too. Security must pay alright these days, or maybe he works 2 jobs....

It could just be he went to a loan shark. It's crazy what these places offer, at 30+% interest.

Last time I knew, security guards still earnt $10-15 an hour.

I don't think so, I think I took that one before Pete started going nuts with the 420EX.

Ah but going nuts with a 420 can be fun! Otherwise, how would I have captures Moppies split personalities:
