While taking a different route home yesterday, my wife and I came across these old trucks out in a field. Had to make a special trip back to catch the late afternoon sun and even the full moon rising just after sunset.

All are super - sooooo nice to see subdued colours and not the over saturated .
I like every composition above.

The trucks are actually in Franklin on Clovercroft Road near McKay's Mill. I've bumped into photographers twice there now and am thinking it's a choice spot for senior pictures (did my son's last night). Maybe the owner parked them out there for our enjoyment! :)

The moon shot is interesting. Hay bales and pink light from the sunset.
Next time get a couple of darker exposures so you can have the moon's face in detail.
The moon is always so much brighter than expected.

Thanks for the comment. I thought the same. Also, the moon always appears so small. I was wondering if it might work to back up (a bunch) and use a 200mm to make the moon a little larger in relation to other parts of the image. This was shot with a 35mm lens. Too bad full moons only come around every 4 weeks.

Agree. I'd love to have that one restored and in my garage. My wife wants me to buy her a '53 chevy... if only we had a good place to keep it.
