I took this photo of a ship heading out to sea one evening.
The sun was setting behind it.
Comment would be appreciated. Thanks

Nice sunset color makes this better than the average shot. But it looks to me like the sun was behind you, not the ship.

Nice shot, I would like to have seen more space behind the ship, seems a little to cramped. I think Supasi meant the sun was from behind the ship, not behind the scene.

Nice light and dramatic clouds. I agree with rcj1 -- a bit more space around the ship in this case might make the image a bit more dynamic. The only thing that conveys motion here is the very small bow wave.

The warm lighting lifts the scene.

Thanks for the comments.
Yes I meant the sun was behind the ship. I was on a Ferry myself that was moving quite fast.
I went to take a few more but by the time I was ready the boat had moved out of position and did not look as impressive.

Thanks for the comments so far

Nice sky and great colors. Id like to see a crop thats less tight, though. Nice shot.

Thanks for the comments, Unfortunately that is not a crop. I wish now I could go back and reshoot that image:rolleyes:

Sometimes it is all about the timing...and we do not always catch the moment. Good attempt considering your situation.
