Decided to get my one and a half year old daughter and her stuffed friends to pose for a few shots for Christmas cards.

I couldn't decide between Color and B&W so I decided to compromise.

I like both. I'll be doing our family Christmas card next weekend. The first one almost looks like you did it on top of a mattress. It looks like it sags down by her left foot.

I like pic one better, but don't care for the half color. It's Christmas, lots of reds, greens other bright colors- I would like to see those colors in this shot.

And a tighter crop.

I too would love to see the first shot in full glorious colour. :-)

Here's the uncropped, full-color original for those interested in a comparison.

Alienbees 800 camera left through 48" softbox, same for camera left but through an umbrella, and a 430ex flash overhead on the backdrop.

What editing software did you use to get those wrinkles out of that backdrop, and how did you do it?

photoshop cs4, I use the patch tool and swap out the wrinkled parts for smother parts. The more wrinkles that get removed, the bigger the patch that can be fixed.
