If I may interject a polite reminder?
I believe ,unless I'm wrong that the general preference is for pics to be posted in the 'sharing' section and this talk section preferred to be kept free of pics unless linked?

I think there was a polite reminder about it whenthe servers weree moved recently
:-)

Wow! Sharp, crisp pictures with great color!

I know the D20 is a huge step up from the Rebel XT. But, can you get the same crisp, sharp, colorfull picture as these?

Yes, I'm sure you can. I upgraded from the 300D and it produced some fabulous shots. My main reason for upgrading was speed, build quality and a little more manual mode flexibility.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but to avoid any issues, I've made the change from embedded images to linked images.

Yea, that's my little knuckle-head. He's a complete physcho with a water gun in his hand and he was squirting his older sister. BTW he's 5 and she's 9...

They are all great pics. It looks like the sister may have had the last laugh in the final shot!

Wow, very nice pictures with great color! Can you give some details on your set up (lens, settings, mode shot in, etc)? Also, are those straight out of the camera or after Photoshop?
Regardless, great pics!

Thanks very much... I appreciate the nice comments. I only applied very slight USM and resized them in PhotoShop.

I updated all of the posts with the EXIF info. Here's a good Internet Explorer and FireFox plugin to view EXIF information via a right click option:

Great pics. What were the shutter speeds, if I may ask? I was shooting a Civil War re-enactment at ISO 100 and f/8 and shutter speeds were so slow I should have brought a tripod, but it was really not a possibility because of the movement and crowds. Did you have a tripod?
