Okay, IDK what the hell is up all of a sudden but photoshop is giving me hell with me RAW file conversions to .jpg. IDK what the hell is up with everything.

I have the RAW files that i'm importing into photoshop under the typical sRGB profile but when I finish the colors and so on then I convert to jpg and then everything darkens up like a mofo... I mean I'm importing and working with sRGB but I don't get why my colors are darkening so much...

WTF?

Any ideas as to what to look for to fix this issue?

The save pattern I have been using is just File > Save As > 10 for quality and progressive x5 scan.

I don't get what is darkening things up so much...

Screen shots of the saving methods and camera raw profile. If you would like to see anything else.. just let me know please.

What are you using the view your jpegs? Windows viewer/something else? If so maybe the color profile is different from sRGB? Check the profile in your OS.

I was using windows 7 photoviewer and I've come to find that it does seem to be causing some of the problems. As soon as I opened them up in IE they seemed to look better and more as to what I was programing for...

But if you guys could still review the screen shots I have posted and let me know if I can tweak these settings to be better in general I would really appreciate it.

I'd like to see the darkened result that you referred to.

The screenshots look okay.
IE should show a difference compared to PS, since IE is not color managed.

Windows7 Photo Viewer is color managed AFAIK, so should display identical to PS.

actually that was the problem but in reverse. IE was showing just fine and is showing fine on everyone else's computer but windows 7 photoviewer is darkening the hell out of images. IDK what management it's using but it screws colors to hell and back.

when I get a chance i'll be posting up a screen shot with the same image in each of the programs.

I kind of panicked a little at first because of the importance of the images.... They were for a client at a Super Car Block Party. Pretty sick damn event....

but yeah, i can't do the screen shots on this computer, it's XP, I have to wait until I get home to my tower which is running 7.
