....an embarrassment of riches here...I've had the P.C version for almost a year and love it...glass and images as clear as a bell...then last week fell into the ED version off of Ebay....ED glass as clean as it's older kin...and both with silky smooth focusing barrels....
The ED is more compact, lighter and better balanced on the body, but there's this....
The aperture ring is narrower on the ED than on the P.C and so is easier to rotate....an important consideration since it's going to be used as a manual aperture lens...hmmmmmm.....
I'll have to take them out and compare results of actual image making, I guess....

They're supposed to be a tidge dark around the edges [pretty much completely black except for the lenses]
