Here are the Canon 250D and 500D lenses. These are some of the best close-up filters available. The 250D is 250mm focal length or +4 diopters. The 500D is 500mm focal length or +2 diopters.

Thanks. Somehow it made sense to use a fisheye to photograph a fisheye. It is the full image from my 5D with the Peleng 8mm f/3.5 fisheye at ISO 100, f/16, 0.4s exposure at the min focus distance. A full power blast was bounced from the 580ex II to light up the interior to match the outside.

It looks like the M42 to EOS adapter is very slightly off-center.

crowflyawa, I think your images are too wide, I seem to recall the maximum width is 1024, if not smaller
