You know what I actually have been perfectly happy with it. It may not be the strongest lens, but it is more than adequate for most uses. If you're up close to your subjects it works really well, at a great distance it loses some fine detail, but for the price it's hard to argue with.

So lately I've developed what some may consider an odd hobby. I've been collecting pictures of peoples lenses from the internet.:lol: I even google the lenses, and save the pics. Then I organize them by lens focal length, and make in various files. I enjoy looking at them, and creating desktop backgrounds out of them. I swear I'm not insane...:rolleyes:

Anyway, I thought it'd be cool if we had a thread where people could post pics of their lenses. Not sure if it's been done before, but here's my contribution!

My love, my baby;

17-40mm f/4L

Do you hear any voices telling you to do this? :D

It's not a photo until you print it! :cool:

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

I did at one point, but it got too 'cluttery' on my signature... Nonetheless, thanks for the suggestion, Alan!!!

You seem to be missing the 24mm. I've seen shots from it and it looks pretty good.

Is it just me or the lens you took these images with is front-focusing...especially the first one looks like actual focus is a few mm in front of your intended subject...

Most likely taken with one of his manual lenses and missed focus.
