I really like this one as it has the BB in the pan and tilt and once balanced, she stays put. It is very fluid, sometimes too fluid if such a thing. Plus, I've always like the locking mechanism as it allows me to change cameras, add TCs with the added security that the front heavy lens won't flop forward. I upgraded from the 1st model (Green unit) that only had BB in the tilt - don't know if I am going to sell or keep it. I like the look of the black lens Gear
