How do you like that phone MClass? Which model is it? I have AT&T and if I don't get an iPhone I'd like to upgrade regardless and that Samsung looks real nice. Even though it isn't a flip phone.

Canon 20D
Canon 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 MK1 /
Zeiss 50mm f/1.7

It's a Samsung SGH-A727 about a year old. It's decent.. if you text a lot, you'll hate it. I'm upgrading to something "better" soon.

And here it is: My 50 1.4.

If 50 1.8 is "Nifty-Fifty", then I'd like to call this the "Better Half". :)

Get it..?!

Would that make the 50L the "Top Half".

Here is a 70-200, F4 with a lens hood I painted to match with automotive paint.
I got the color pretty close.

Here's another slightly unusual Canon lens:
The EF 100-200mm 1:4.5 A lens.

I wasn't expecting it to be that good given its rather maligned reputation, however it focuses accurately, has very little CA, and this copy anyway is very sharp above f/5.6 and it is constant f-ratio. The complete lack of manual focus capability or even a mf/af switch would be a deal breaker to most however.

If you use a rear button for focusing, it is not as bad since you can at least control when the autofocus is active so that it doesn't refocus every time you press the shutter button halfway. Most Canon cameras can set this with custom function 4.

I think I am emotionally attached to this lens.

And a little(little might not be the right word) 10$ gem I picked up. I have a little review of it here for those interested:
