This morning she decided to take over her brother's bed, I liked the messy look, the un-made bed & the matching bad hair do.

Natural light from double sliding doors in my son's room with the following settings used:

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Lens: EF50mm f/1.4 USM
Exposure: Manual exposure, 1/250 sec, f/2.2, ISO 640

And caught sneaking back in again after he told her to "get out of his room" !!!

I loveeee the first one. Do you use the center point focus and then recompose or compose and choose the appropriate focus point? I'm asking because my boys never stay still for 1 second. As a newbie I find it's hard to fiddle with all the buttons while they are on the move all the time. I have to play the guilt trip to take pictures of them lol.

depends on the lens I'm using - my 85 and 50 I can toggle, but the 24-70 only seems to like the middle focus point, even though Canon have calibrated it to my camera 3 times.

nothing wrong with a good bribe. I bribe my own kids with biscuits - and client's kid's with being allowed to look through the camera and take a photo of mum or dad - bribery - ohh yeah ! lol

I'm pretty fast on the toggling - so I don't have an issue - but if you focus and re compose and it works for you , then don;t change :)

Seriously though, beautiful as always. Love her little sneakyness in the last one. ;)
