Powershot series --- up to 8 MP!!! Didn't see any with a hotshoe like our beloved G6....

Those were announced 2 weeks ago. It is pretty interesting. The XT a few months ago, Then the S2, the pocket Powershots, the 5D, and the 1D MKII N. The only ones left from last year are the G6 and Pro 1. Does that mean they are so good they don't need replacement, or...........

.......maybe they are putting the finishing touches on the 15x IS 8mp CMOS chipped monster 1600 ISO (without the need for an in-camera version of NoiseNinja) Pro2 IS. Live swingout preview and no stupid swinging mirror. I'm saving my lunch money.
