these are not very good it was late i forgot my tripod.I did learn alot of what not to do.these photos were very dark i lightned them up in ps.

The one thing you learned for sure, is that you took a picture of one gigantic buck. Beautiful shot.

Scott,

You may have had a focus/low light issue, but at least you got the entire deers inside the frame! So many end up with an ear, or an antler tip, or the feet running off the image.

Better luck with lighting/focus next time, but be happy with your composition.

here is one that is a little bigger. I saw around 30 bucks and those two were among the smallest, but they were the closest.it was after 7:30 pm when these were taken.

These are good considering.. You managed to get some shots of them being natural.. Usually when deer see you, they stare intently at the camera.. Kind of like 'Deer in headlights' :)

Great on catching the buck.. Lots of deer where I live.. (I get them in my yard sometimes).. I've got plenty of shots of does, but no not a single buck..

Im jealous :)

I`will try to get some photos that are in focus later this week.it is very foggy in these fields every evening.i will try to manual focus next time.

wow deer seem almost magical to me, id love to see them in person! i look forward to more shots as theres no chance of seeing them where i live
