I think there is a shooting range down there? Great place very open, surprised to see that kind of a bird there was probably a lot of people there this holiday weekend...

Not actually on the lake, there is a small wetlands area on the south side of the lake, right across the road from the model airplane field and just north of the shooting range. This guy has been hanging out there most of the summer. There are also some night herons around there. Kenny A. Chaffin
