I can assure you that this eagle and any eagle that I shoot is totally wild. He had just brought in a stick for the nest. After spending five minutes placing it in just the right spot, he jumped up about a foot above the nest on the trimmed stump and shook his feathers out. I love it when this happens as you can often get unique shots. stevepetersenphotography.com
