That sun is a bit harsh, you might have waited until it was less strong? Look at the girls eyes. They are black holes because of the dark shadows caused by the harsh light. You and your wife have sun glasses on because of the strong light, and we don't get to see your eyes, which are such an important thing to see.

Also, I'm curious about the gap in the middle of the photo, separating the two girls/dog from the rest of the family. Was that a conscious decision or did you not think about it. I find it to be distracting in the sense that it almost makes them a separate entity from the group. You might have wanted to fill that gap yourself, which would have given the family group a pleasing triangular composition, as well as more cohesive family group.
I might also have "tucked in" all those feet that are protruding into the foreground. You could have them cross their legs, or all sit on their legs, to avoid the mishmash of leg shapes that is going on.

The background you've chosen is beautiful! I like that you have everyone sitting, so we can see more of it. Holding your wife's hand like that is a really nice touch. I also like the bit of tall grass to the right that is adding a bit of dimension to the photo. Also love that you included the family dog. Overall, there are some technical things you could work on, but you captured a nice happy family photo in a beautiful setting.
