A few pics of Emma in downtown Columbus, OH. Very shy, and didn't know what she wanted, which was kinda good. We kept it casual, and I think she had a good time.

I like them except for the first. It looks like she's getting arrested.

Great shots! I really like the one where she is against the wall and her head is slightly down, it's very cute. I didn't see the "getting arrested" until I read that, but yup now thats all I see. ha

I like the softness, (and I don't mean focus) of the shots. Ohio? Must have been cloudy! Know the drill.

Taken with a 24-70? Looks really nice on the BG, too.

These are very nice. I think she'll be very pleased with them.

Thanks all . No feedback from miss E, yet, but pretty sure it's the shyness thing.

Yes, Columbus, Ohio. Bright sunny day, and very windy, shot from 1:30-4pm. Used a small umbrella and 580-II(TT5+mini) in the shade, and a diffuser while in the sun. The pics above were all lit, except the one with the water in the background, it was diffused with side lighting from the sun. 50L for most of the shots, 85L for others, all on 7d. Worked with a partner, switched off between lights and camera work for this session. I can tell you a 4' triangular diffuser in 28mph gusts is like a HUGE sail. My female partner did the camera work for the diffuser pics. :) PP for these pics is mine, poses/shots are mixed.

Yeah, some of the usual teen cleanup. Glad you asked, means it wasn't obvious. :) Here's a SOOTC vs PP'd image.

This pic is 50mm f/1.2, ISO 100, 1/3200, flash-fired.

Good work man, I too am from Columbus and I've looked and looked for places to shoot Downtown and couldn't find anything that really wow'd me...but you seem to have found some nice ones!
I love that bridge that's in the background, that's by the Santa Maria right?
