Copper lizard / "Coppersnake"

Yes, its a lizzard and not a snake. Buts its also called Coppersnake. I dont know if there is any english word for it. Taken with my eos 350d and tamron 28-75mm lens. I know about "my" shadow on some pics. It was realy hard to not get it. But I have lighten it a bit in photoshop. And i think the eys is going more to the darket with the shadow. :-)

It looks like what we call a "Legless Lizard" and they move very quickly so I think you did well to get it in focus. It's hard to know from the picture how big it is but the Legless Lizards are only small, less than 10cm I would think.
