Did a photo shoot with my much adored niece today. Almost two, it's hard to get her to look at the camera, but when she does, she shines. Now if only my studio work look as good as she does....

She is a living doll... I bet her mommy is loving these images. :)

She is a little doll, I'm very lucky to have her to practice on. Her mom really likes the photos, dads complaining about the lipstick effect..

I love this image, but I've been wavering on whether or not I like the desaturated edit of it. I'm intrigued by it, but at the same time I'm not sure if it's creepy...

I'd think it a pretty B&W, but the desaturated almost looks like she is half lifeless... lack of color in the skin tones, with the red lips... maybe throws it off.

I can edit a B&W version if you would like.

Cropped fingers. Cropped hands. #1 is pretty good.

I'd love to see your black and white, a fresh set of eyes is always welcome. :)

It does look pretty creepy although I appreciate its merit.

How about a little "vintage" feeling? Or just a B&W with a warm tone to keep it looking soft...?

Thanks, I do want to improve my studio work with kids so that stops happening. I've had a little bit better luck with children who are not my niece, she's less willing to sit still due to the belief that I should be on the ground playing with her.
